Sobre LiquidText
Aplicación de lectura, toma de notas y análisis de documentos ganadora del Editor's Choice de Apple y Microsoft "PDF Editor with Superpowers, FastCompany
And to have them all on my iPad so that I don't have to deal with huge stacks of paper. I don't 'integrate with business processes' because I don't have business processes, whatever they may be.
I don't like that in addition for having paid an upfront fee to purchase the product, now I need to pay a subscription fee to have access to all features.

Una herramienta indispensable para cualquier lector
Comentarios: Me gusta Liquid text pues me facilita la lectura activa.
Puntos a favor:
excelente aplicacion
Puntos a favor:
facil de usar, rapida de aprender, facil de usar, rapida de aprender
Contras:
la navegacion entre las notas en el panel lateral
The closest to Digital Paper.
Comentarios: It has been a huge time saver for me, and is now the default reference & thinking tool I use when doing complex research.
Puntos a favor:
Great Interface, simple and easy to use. Using it on a digital pen enabled device, like a tablet layout input make it worthwhile. As one of those people who still loves scribbling and noting things down, having an easy tool is a big deal for me.
Contras:
While it can integrate with two of the most common reference managers, the ability to import would be nice. There are standardised formats out there, so its not dependent of these two.
All in one
Comentarios: I am in a healthcare industry and due to vast amount of information in it, I need a app that summarise and present it in understandable way and liquid text is definitely good at it by doing so
Puntos a favor:
Mind maps, content sharing and document linking are my favourite features
Contras:
Note taking is not perfectly improved to smooth experience and I think it need to be developed
No need for paper - ever
Comentarios: Makes going "paper - free" easy.
Puntos a favor:
It allows document management to be undertaken in a totally paper free manner.
Contras:
There are functionality issues in syncing between windows and apple products
LiquidText- Seamless like liquid
Comentarios: Found worth the subscription plan and a tons of features.
Puntos a favor:
Notes taking experience is good and also works in an imported doc. So works well for editing some too. Also, includes powerful features for every aspect like pdf editing, making notes, book reading and managing multiple docs at a time.As of my experience, I found this app getting better and better and new features are constantly added. There's no bug yet that I faced. Very smooth and fluid experience 👍
Contras:
There are multiple plans available which is a bit confusing. They should give a free 7 or 15 days trial to try out all the features and then decided whether plan to choose from.
Best PDF experience with moderate note taking experience
Comentarios: I personally found this feature rich and it does almost every document related need complete.
Puntos a favor:
It’s extraordinary ability to edit the pdf file is really nice and handy. Combination of all document related features is good. Haven’t used this feature a lot but the pointing kinda thing that we can link a topic of a pdf to a comment is really nice though. Collaborative feature are good also and I found this app the most advance one in whole Apple ecosystem to be honest. So, you can definitely go for this.
Contras:
1. it is not available for android which is really a headache.2. It’s note taking experience is not as good as Goodnotes and team should focus on improving this.3. Price of its plans is really high and some of the goodies is only available on those only.4. Document storing experience can be a little enhanced.
Could be a little bit better, but still the best
Comentarios: I switched from a free Apple app called Freeform just because of lack of features and I really took a good decision.
Puntos a favor:
It's collaborative features are very useful and great. Also other tools like note taking, PDF sticky notes kinda things, editing pdf, mind maping are great features to consider. Used this for about 5 months and it has a tons of features that I like. Great support for documents. Even I can import pptx files and edit them which is a must feature to have.
Contras:
Few things that can be added and are must to have:1. Document folder on main screen, so that we can categorize the document based on their purpose.2. User interface could be a little more user friendly. For a beginner, its a little bit hard to learn things.3. It's not available for android devices. Like atleast this must be available for samsung tab so that they can also get included in collaborative projects.
All rounder for Journalists!
Comentarios: complete package for Journalism.
Puntos a favor:
Editing features are really good, highlighting the text, editing text, creating a doc and accessing multiple docs at a time are really useful for journalism and this serves the proper purpose with perfection. Also, it really works the best if you have an Apple ecosystem.
Contras:
A few more note taking features can be added. This is good for note taking but if we try to make some art, it doesn't have proper brushes. I know this is not made for this but still, it would be really nice if this had these.
Great for collaboration and maping down what I have in my mind
Comentarios: I have notability and goodnotes and paid for them but still they were not able to fulfill my requirements but LiquidText did it well. I had recommended it to my friends and would say that you should definitely go for this.
Puntos a favor:
Best thing about the LiquidText is that I can link any topic in any pdf to a comment and whenever I click on that comment it locates me back to that portion of the pdf. Also the whiteboard helps me to store my all notes at one place.Collaborative features are also worth to mention as this make things a lot easier when it comes to working together with a team.
Contras:
Only issue I found was that I was unable to import my notability notes in LiquidText in note format. I had to first convert it into a pdf. This makes a little difficult to shift to LiquidText.
Feature rich but can be optimized more for small screen devices
Comentarios: Probably the best available app for pdf and documents.
Puntos a favor:
It packs all the features required for PDF management. We can edit, collaborate, make notes, mind maps and commenting are regular used features and serves their purpose well. Helps a lot by supporting almost all document types and all of the documents can be stored at one place. Totally satiesfied with this purchase.
Contras:
On my iPad mini, this app can be more optimized in the terms of layout. Altough all features are great but buttons are a little bit small.
Great for collaboration and PDF
Comentarios: It has those features which other applications doesn't provide. Would really recommend this to everyone.
Puntos a favor:
Linking feature is really great and helps to find any topic on the go while studying. One of the standout features of LiquidText is its ability to transform static PDFs into dynamic, interactive documents. The fluidity of the touch-based interface allows me to highlight, underline, and annotate text with precision. This is particularly valuable when reviewing medical research papers and patient records. The ability to easily rearrange and connect various sections of a document using the "ink workspace" is a huge plus. It helps me create visual summaries and connect key concepts in a way that's simply not possible with traditional paper documents or other PDF readers.
Contras:
It's price now has increased and most of the premium features are present only in more costly plans.
Best for reviewing
Comentarios: Thank you for creating LiquidText! Ever since I started using LiquidText my studying & working jouney is more innovative. I love that you guys are putting a lot of effort in improving this app and that makes me want to continue using this app even more. Keep up!
Puntos a favor:
What I like about LiqidText is that it's very easy to write, organize, and review notes acorss the document. It's almost like studying with an actualy notebook & pen but much better because it's paper-less! Especially for intense studying or reviewing it is so helful. I am a professional who's always reviewing for different licensure exams and I need to take a lot of notes in a single document. Being able to take as much notes as possible without minding how much blank space I have in a page is a great feeling and it makes my reviewing more efficient & productive.
Contras:
I'm not very fond of the user interface. As a person who uses a lot of different apps (especially note-taking apps & PDF apps) in iOS, the user interface of LiquidText feels a bit out-dated. I would want it to be more modern and sophisticated so it's more motivating. Also the price is bit expensive to recommend to anyone. I have a lot of friends who are still students and they tend to purcahse cheaper apps even though LiquidText is great.
An excellent app with most advantages but still some disadvantages
Comentarios: Great! Despite of the disadvantages mentioned above, this app really help me improve the efficiency of reading and reviewing paper or research to a enormous extent
Puntos a favor:
The functions I like most are the “excerpts ” and “ink links.” They help me easily gather and summarize all the topics and ideas of a book so that I won’t forget the precious chapter when I read the next one, which I was really annoyed about before use this app.
Contras:
I think the stability of this app is what still have a lot of space to improve. Sometimes when I am dragging an excerpt the app will broke and end the app mandatorily. Besides, I also hope I can change the default font size of excerpts so that I won’t have to change it manually in every new excerpt.
Game Changer for Research
Puntos a favor:
I love the workspace feature, especially the multiple document feature. When I am working on a paper, I can store the same documents in a project and organize the excerpts in the same workspace. It feels like I can cut pieces out and rearrange them on the floor, but it is all electronic. This allows me the flexibility to organize information in a way that makes sense to me, without the hassle of physical copies.
Contras:
It would be nice to be able to rotate PDFs.
My review
Comentarios: I would use it even more if note taking for meetings were better implemented. I also would enjoy a second brain (like roam research) function.
Puntos a favor:
Auto-excert and the possibility to build schemas.
Contras:
Document management and the intuitivity of the product.
A good app for everyday use
Puntos a favor:
It covers almost all kind of demands regarding pdf and documents management. Mind maps and comments are few unique features about this that other applications lacks. Also it's pricing is good according to features.
Contras:
User interface could be more interactive than it's currently is.
Great Product with a few kinks in its armour
Puntos a favor:
I like the page linking and the note linking feature of the product the most. It is a very innovative feature
Contras:
Ease of use and syncing into other devices could be improved upon. Further mouse support for laptop use is really essential.
Liquid text easees the carrying bulky case files easy.
Comentarios: quite smooth and easy-to-use features. However, a slight improvement in excerpted notes is required(option to pin it).
Puntos a favor:
carrying hard copies of cases is a tedious work, however, Liquidtext makes it easy to manage bulky case files.
Contras:
Pricing of Liquidtext is quite expensive for young lawyers.
A superb app for learning
Comentarios: I love using Liquidtext for my studies.
Puntos a favor:
Ability to take notes and mark pdfs. Ability to extract experts. Summarize highlights.
Contras:
Right to left support is lagging. Also can't make experts from Hebrew PDFs.
Top liquid text
Comentarios: Good
Puntos a favor:
Document management and annotations I like also the multiple options of selections
Contras:
Not usable on phone ? Better if we can have an iOS version on iphone for files follow up
It is a great apps, but need further modifications.
Comentarios: it is a great experience, but i use to lost my data one time. now, I am very cautious when I use it, but as a user, that problem should be processed by the developers.
Puntos a favor:
process multiple documents, highly accessible and user-friendly. i can easily extract the information I need, integrate them together and relatively easy to check their source.
Contras:
the operation sometimes is not fluent. when search a word in a project, when delete a document.i feel the app functions are really great now , the rest is to optimize the GUI and make it more fluent as macOS
Architecture and Reviewer's POV
Comentarios: Cool
Puntos a favor:
Easy annotation and unlimited workspace which is very handy
Contras:
Undo feature (missing) and fonts sometimes change when I import
Intuitive and integrated
Comentarios: A real organization and connection of different sources that improves my research projects.
Puntos a favor:
Simple tools for key needs in ny Work as a professor and researcher.
Contras:
Sometimes I have open files that close unexpectedly
Sincerity is a rare find in the digital world.
Comentarios: Fan. Tastic.
Puntos a favor:
I feel like it sincerely wants me to use it increase my own capacity and efficiency and doesn't want to JUST make money off of me. Additional features are very welcome and I'm considering them because I see how useful they feel to me! But I truly appreciate knowing that I'm not in a scam for my data. I use this app to read extremely heavy spiritual texts, and the ethics of it are everything to me.
Contras:
The features i find missing are available if I'm willing to pay (which I'm very close to being!!) Keep up the great work.
