> **Puntos a favor**: Clio used to have responsive and helpful customer support, but that was years ago\! It was once easy to track and link payments to client matters, run useful reports, and handle cloud-based documents, but recently the software has seen nothing but bugs.

> **Puntos en contra**: Clio is plagued with bugs and its cloud-based document system stops working entirely every few weeks or so, requiring a complete reinstallation of the desktop launcher. Clio also, without any notice at all, removed certain features that allowed for the linking of card payments from Clio Scheduler (a sister program), retroactively recharacterizing ALL prior card payments in a completely different manner and ruining my firm's entire accounting system overnight. Clio tech support is worthless and is never aware of any issues brought up to them about the software, no matter how debilitating the issue may be, and they endlessly put you on hold to "talk ton their team" while stalling and asking for more screenshots of the issue, only to tell you a week later that they can't help you. The software has fallen far from grace and serves only to be a very expensive patchwork of buggy integrations, paired with tech support that doesn't understand any of the details of their own program.

They look great at first glance given the supposed breadth of features they have, but when they start removing features without notice or you experience any problem with their software at all, it is all but guaranteed that they will be completely unable to assist and you will be left paying full price for a program that, at best, half works.

Clio is user-friendly and continues to develop features to keep up with changing technology including AI.

Separate tiers for Manage (LPM), Grow (CRM), Accounting, Draft (Docs/Templates/Automations), the CPI (Clio Personal Injury "add-on") and now Clio Work (Ai, Research, etc.)  If these programs were integrated, and we could select them a la carte under various plans, versus what appear to be distinct packages (some based on user licenses, some that are mandatory for the firm), it would help.&#10;&#10;IF the CPI or DRAFT were included, maybe for a slightly higher price, it would seem more integrated.  I understand the economics, costs to deliver superb service by Clio and value the various components bring, but it is becoming onerous and unwieldy for a solo/sm. firm.

It has gone down recently choosing to say we are not seeing what we are clearly seeing or putting the problem in to development or even worse, blaming a third party vendor.   They were good at helping resolve issues at one time.   The program is easy to use and set up however and invoicing is relatively straightforward.

> **Puntos en contra**: The per user cost and constant updating of services that are not included and frankly don't work well with their other services seems less of a subscription service and more of a toxic relationship that needs to be ended but for which few viable alternatives exist.  We use the "devil we know" expression around my office to describe Clio is, which is not a service that would receive a 5 star review.

> This is a good program for a solo or small office but a below average program for a large office.  The more non-billing personnel you have and the more users you need makes the program cost outweigh its convenience and lack of flexibility.

The Outlook integration is amazing, if a coworker is unavailable for a specific client, I can go to the communications tab and see what is going on in their file.

> **Puntos en contra**: In order to do things, such as creating a bill, it takes way too many clicks to accomplish. I would like it better if there was simply a button we can push.

> Clio has been great overall. I can communicate with clients easily, and the integrations make doing every day tasks easy. The AI support is also a really good feature. 9 times out of 10, it can answer my questions while also showing me step by step how to it.
