We really liked that clients could view and sign the contract and pay the invoice in pretty much one step.
I cannot speak to anyone on the phone which was extremely frustrating. All the learning is through videos and I think the videos are well done, however, I prefer a more personal approach.

The Potential Is There!
Comentarios: I was looking for a platform that could serve several functions at a reasonable price point. I found it in 17 Hats, and I’m always learning something new.
Puntos a favor:
It’s comprehensive. I was looking for an all-in-one solution for booking, invoicing, and workflow management.
Contras:
The Booking function doesn’t have all the features you see in other booking platforms such as manual scheduling and schedule blocking. It’s a little clunky but I believe it’s still being developed.

Comentarios: Powerful tool that saves time and effort, with some drawbacks to me.
Puntos a favor:
17hats has an easy-to-use interface that allows you to manage all aspects of your business from a single platform. Great integrations with other business tools also.
Contras:
The platform has a steep learning curve thats wy being somoe hard to understand at first. Csutomer support should improved there might be long wait times and unhelpful responses.
Don't Pay for This Annual Service
Comentarios: Nice folks answer questions, but they've just missed the bar on so much.
Puntos a favor:
I like that they attempted to put everything all in one place and make life easier for an entrepreneur.
Contras:
The site itself is cumbersome. Finding what you should be working on, seeing all your projects at a glance, moving around is frustrating. The invoices don't come with an automatic reminder feature that you can just "click" on...way too much setup for a subpar product. This is definitely one made for people who are NEW to business and business software. So many more SAAS products out there doing a better job. How do you now have recurring revenue as a feature? That's fundamental. So then you're chasing people for invoices to be paid. No one wants that. Also, they make you pay for a full year. And refuse to honor if you are slightly outside of the 30-day refund window. And now they have your money for 11 more months. Not a good customer service model.

17hats as a Photographer (solo owner)
Comentarios: In short, was drawn into the service to help cut down the number of software services and just use one service, but the cost was too high for the product I got. I also heavily rely on being able to be mobile AND use my desktop on or offline -- which was not available and the mobile app is not that great. Overall, left feeling like I invested in a waste of money with a frustrating experience... this was my first experience using something robust and I then moved on to find other solutions.

I love an all-in-one service that can combine these features: - Invoice / expense management - scheduling online for clients - CRM style contact management - workflows and templates to make my life easier - nice to look at and easy ux The idea was there but some work needed to go into the original feature development. A lot of the helpful features felt confusing and a pain to set up. Might be better now but when I used it it was such a headache I did not use a lot of the features that drew me in.
Contras:
The software is bundled up to draw you in for your one-stop shop for the list of things I stated. However, one of my biggest pet peeves with up-and-coming companies is their lack of focus to improve the functions of their initial systems in play. After their successful launch and drawing me into their somewhat expensive annual fee, I felt they kept working on new features instead of improving current features that could have used some attention for better UX. I got so frustrated with this that I left. Feeling that I was constantly being asked to spend more money on new features that I did not want.

Comentarios: I've been using 17hats for more than 5 years. It has keep my business looking professional and has kept me organized and on track. I don't miss a thing thanks to the reminders, the calendar and dashboard. I love the easy of templates and how simply I can set up a scheduling option for my clients.

I love that this CRM literally has everything you would need to run a small business. The client database, bookkeeping, scheduler, invoicing, and calendar are the features I use the most. I love how organized I am thanks to 17 hats.
Contras:
I am not missing anything, it's my favorite software and I use it multiple times a day.

Great CRM but not my favourite
Comentarios: I was with them for years and it was good! Loved their invoicing, loved the price, loved how easy it was to set up and change things but I wished that it had a bit more personal flair that you could add. Being a creative it's so nice to be able to customize price lists and portals a bit more.

being from Canada I loved that the invoices could be split up to have some items charging GST and some items charging both pst and gst within an invoice. Was my absolute favourite part of the CRM! I also liked how easy it was to set up

It was a little clunky looking to clients and the client portal wasn't as beautiful as others I've tried.

Efficient and User Friendly Software Management
Comentarios: Overall, I love that I can organize my projects, send quotes, contracts and invoices all from the same place. I also love that I have streamlined workflows for each different type of project all saved in 17Hats.

I love 17Hats. I use it for every single one of my projects and I love the organization it provides me within my business. My workflow is so streamlined thanks to 17Hats!
Contras:
The only downside that I can see about 17Hats is that the quality of their bookkeeping is not as thorough or beneficial as other accounting software. I have to manually enter all of my expenses and I wish there was an option for me to take pictures of my receipts. I also wish I had the ability to automate some of my monthly/annual expenses so that I didn't have to enter them every time.

Great CRM, just not for us
Comentarios: Overall, the software is effective but expensive and more complicated in comparison to CRMs we’ve used. The customer service was great though and as long as you have someone that can help you navigate the software the first few times, it could really work for your business.

We had a mentor walking us through with videos and templates. Without their help, we feel that we would have been lost trying to set up our account. Set up is also quite time consuming.

Comentarios: Lifelong Client. I always wait until the Black Friday Sale every year and buy an entire 2-3 year package, such a good deal!

Crisp and clean layout. Ease of use. Tutorials help get you started. Great Template Options Connects Bank account for bookkeeping/categorizing personal expenses or business expenses Easily switch from Square to PayPal to accept payments. The list goes on and on...it is truly a hit...
Contras:
I wish they had a feature that texted reminders to clients about their upcoming appointments. This would be SUCH a helpful feature. Does not let you see YTD Sales for previous years.

Comentarios: 17Hats powers my small business. From lead acquisition, to contract fulfilment, 17Hats does just about everything for me including marketing, payment collection and more. PLUS everything is automated so my time is not wasted on chasing clients or emailing hot leads.

There are no reporting features. I have to use Zapier to link to other software
Love 17hats for small business
Comentarios: I've been using 17hats for years and absolutely love it. Now that I'm hiring a team, I'm finding that it's not a good system to be able to organize leads to different team members and what they can view.
Puntos a favor:
Simple, easy to use system for solopreneurs with lots of features to keep your business organized.
Contras:
The lead dashboard feature could be improved so much. It would be nice to have the ability to move clients from leads, to active client and back to lead again when they come back to work with you again. I also don't like that text message notifications were turned off!

There are many pros to 17hats - first, you can try this for free for a month to get a feel for the platform and test out all of the functionalities. It's easy to workflows, integrate email, quotes, invoices, contracts - and you can easily sign off to accept a quote and contract right on the platform.
Contras:
I did have some cons when I first used 17hats a few years ago, and stopped for about 6 months and came back after trying something else out. In that time, they had made a bunch of upgrades to the platform and made it much easier to set up new projects and organize all of your documents within each project. As of right now, I don't have any cons using 17hats.
I've been using 17hats for about a year now and it has been fantastic.
Comentarios: It helps me run my business seamlessly and allows me the opportunity to provide a high level of customer service to my clients.

I like all the add on's that they have for use like the templates, the ability for customers to simply click one time to pay their invoice once it's emailed. There are so many features that make this platform amazing!
Contras:
I wish that there was more integration with other platforms, like Hubspot for CRM or SalesForce, just because 17hats is not as robust in that regard. I wish that you could use multiple timers at one time, because I am constantly working for multiple clients back and forth throughout each day. Sometimes it also seems that there is a delay in how fast the platform processes data. I can click on a project and it will take up to 6 seconds for it to recognize that, and it's not a computer error either, as I checked.
Life saver!
Comentarios: My business deals with special events and the workflows for each event help me keep track of where they are in the process which saves me a lot of guess work. Being able to create workflows and automate my job lets me focus more on growing my business.

17hats is a quality CRM system that I use daily to keep my business running smoothly. I use all features which includes bookkeeping, lead management, projects, invoicing and contracts. With the CRM keeping all my client's details in one spot, I can easily find any information on that project with a click of a button.
Contras:
I feel that the app version needs to be updated. The mobile version offers several features that the app is not set up yet to tackle.
Couldn't do business without it!
Comentarios: Overall, super happy. I've been using for a few years now and am locked in at a great rate. The user interface isn't as pretty as some of the competitors softwares, but it gets the job done and keeps everything organized.
Puntos a favor:
It has streamlined everything from client inquiry to payment and everything in between! I love that I can send clients a bundle with their quote, contract, and invoice. I use workflows to keep each project organized. My clients also love it and have commented on how easy it is to use from their side.
Contras:
There is no way to pull reports/data. I'd like to be able to see how many inquiries came in, turned to bookings, sales figures, etc within certain time frames. I would also appreciate a way to see data from questionnaires. Specifically, I have inquires fill in "where did you hear about me" and it would be great to pull those answers and gather data.
Easy way to manage my photography Clients
Comentarios: The ability to organize all of my Clients into a project where I can see their communications, contracts, and invoices at a quick glance.
Puntos a favor:
This system makes it really easy for me to manage my photography Clients and Second Shooters (Independent Contractors). I love that I get a text alert when I have a new lead, and that I can create inquiry questionnaires that can be imbedded directly into my website. The integration with Gmail and PayPal makes things very easy for services I had already set up for my business. I admittedly don't use all of the features offered in 17hats, but love the ones that I do utilize!
Contras:
The insert token/attribute option doesn't always work as expected for my contracts. When I preview them there are a lot of things that end up looking a little funky in regards to spacing. I've taken a lot of time going back and forth to fix these issues before sending to a client.

This has just streamlined my business and finances. I can let 17 hats do the heavy lifting and allow my book keeper to maintain and I can get on with the business of my business.

The billing system seriously needs an overhall. To be able to have auto billing would be a godsend. That still needs work
So many features for the price point, it was a no brainer
Puntos a favor:
We needed a database that had the ability to connect with Gmail and send digital contract for online signatures. The digital contract functionality alone pays for the product, as other digital contract programs alone are double the price. Having a complete database tool that allows for this included in the cost is perfect.
Contras:
You can't add custom fields for contacts or projects so this makes the database functionality extremely limiting. My client is a home inspection company that also hosts training courses for other home inspectors, works with real estate agents and project managers, and has preferred partners. This makes it very difficult to differentiate between contact types and add the field we need. We'd pay a little more for this functionality if it was available.

This is hands down one of the best pieces of software I use. My business couldn't run without it! All my projects are kept in line, workflows, bookkeeping, and more. Fantastic investment and well worth the money with all of the improvements they are constantly making.
Contras:
The one thing I wish they did was make it so that clients could easily share files and documents back and forth through the software with me.
Good CRM with Outdated Interface
Comentarios: Overall it's a good software. Has a heavy focus on photographers though

Loved the workflow for creating quotes/proposals to contracts and then invoices. Made it really easy to get all those things squared away in one go. Love that we can create custom templates for mails, contracts, etc.
Contras:
Didn't like the interface, found certain things tedious to do, like creating email templates or creating the proposals etc.
I love 17Hats for client task management

I like the ability to create templates and appsy them to multiple clients. The ability to create questionnaires is also an excellent feature
Contras:
Its a bit of a warning curve to set up But the 17Hats University is excellent for learning the set up and usability features of the software

Comentarios: It's really gives you 17 hats to run your business would definitely recommend it if you are serious about handling your business yourself. It really doesn't take away the logistical hassle of dealing with different services and/or people.
Puntos a favor:
Allows you to manage and organize business. You can sort clients by date as well as generate invoices. The service also allows for scheduling as well. Because it tracks invoices you can also use it as an accounting tool as well.
Contras:
It is a bit self contained so, if you choose to use any other products to replace any of this products features it becomes drastically less helpful. It also is a bit pricey.
