A great alternative to the big ticketing platforms

Showpass is a local business and our company loves to work with other local businesses. We love a good alternative to the high fees of the larger platforms. It's easy to use and we can customize so much without Showpass stepping in.

We have lots of demands and some of the features are not there or slow to implement or complete.

Comentarios: Excellent, I had never set up a ticketed event before, there was lots of help, and it just keeps getting easier and easier.

That it is Canadian, and located in the same province as our business. Any time I have a problem, there is help right away.

Contras:

There are a couple things in the reports I wish I could find, but to be fair, I have not asked and maybe I'm just not looking in the right spots.

Comentarios: Great! All the events I go to in Calgary primarily use Showpass and it's nice to not think or stress about getting tickets.

Convienence! Showpass is super convienent for all the shows that I go to. It's easy to log in find tickets and download then even right outside venue entrances.

Contras:

Logging in can sometimes be a pain, but other than that it's easy to use.

Smooth Event Experience with Showpass

Comentarios: My overall experience with Showpass was very positive, and I would recommend it for its fast check-in, mobile accessibility, and transparent pricing. Just be aware that if you need support in the evening, you might be on your own for a while.

A major highlight for me was the convenience of having everything in one place. From ticketing to attendee management, Showpass offers a centralized platform that made my life so much easier.

Contras:

Their customer service closes at 7pm, which could be limiting in urgent situations.

User Friendly and Straight Forward

Comentarios: I have had zero issues in setting up and selling tickets, scanning tickets at concerts and payment has been very prompt.

Very easy to use. Staff are very helpful when things go wrong and reply to the chat window really fast. Event set-up is largely intuitive, ticket scanning was flawless. Low fees for customers, lots of fees payee selections . Emailing all guests is great. I don't know how much going into the weeds is valuable here, but I can say that this service has been excellent and I would definitely recommend it.

Contras:

One of the only thing I can think of is that some of the language/terminology isn't clear at first, but the FAQ really helps with that so it's not a real issue. 1 thing I wish was clearer though is that I had to absorb a lot of fees in order to do full refunds for a cancelled event. I was told I would be invoiced. It wasn't super clear to me in all the reporting exactly what amount was what I paid. The breakdowns are numerous, there's a lot of info which is great, but that one thing wasn't clear to me. For my year end, doing my taxes, it would be nice to demonstrate that amount separately instead of it being included in the rest of the overall amounts. Support emails aren't replied to quickly, but then again the chat window is extremely fast and much more efficient for dealing with multiple issues at once, so forget that, I'm looking for flaws where there haven't really been any. None of this is really a big issue.

Great bang for your buck

Comentarios: User friendly, functional and helps make management of large events very smooth.

I love the support that I received. I'm not familiar with how to implement these systems and being completely new to this arena was a difficult thing for me, but Showpass guided me along the way and provided support to ensure a successful event.

Contras:

I would love to be able to customize certain aspects like customer sign up when processing new orders- because not information was pertinent to us, but otherwise it was a great experience.

Comentarios: I really liked using showpass - the website set up looked professional and I had lots of insights on sales. I had great control over ticketing, it was super easy to use directly from my phone, and our customers were generally happy with the ease of use

Showpass made it easy to go live with our ticket sales, to advertise our events and get information out to customers. E-tickets were great for tracking ticket sales and scanning tickets at the event was super easy for our volunteers to do

Set up took a long time, designing the website side of it was simple enough, but time consuming.

Great Product for Large Events

Comentarios: It works great for large-scale events. Showpass's dedicated customer service team is also incredible. A Showpass rep named [sensitive content hidden] helped me, and was so polite, and always helped me find a solution, even if my request was crazy.

I used this for an Airshow. The registration process and ticket scanning software made it such a successful event!

Contras:

I used this for a separate event for a conference. It was almost impossible to transfer event registration to other guests because there was no way to switch job titles or company names when transferring a ticket.

Comentarios: Overall, Im not super impressed. There were quite a few hoops to jump through to get our payout that we’re not communicated until after our payment was held and I reached out to ask why.
