Large matrix of operating systems and browsers (all different versions, too) that can be used manually or automated for testing and regression testing.

Contras:

Slightly complicated UI to setup your tests. Once your tests are setup, they are run automatically - and that works great.

Best Product Design and Testing Platform!

Comentarios: My overall experience with BrowserStack is great, I still remember when I first integrated with Browser stack, and saw the standalone remote test run 5 years back! It was so cool!

Puntos a favor:

Its a great tool for web and mobile based applications, where I need to test various devices. Comes in handy with all the configurations, well documented about the usage. For a beginner to expert, its a very good tool!

Contras:

Sometimes I noticed minor bugs, like the same build from CI runs twice. So they can be better tested before releases.

Good to have as a Test management and Testing Platform.

Comentarios: I tried to explore it more and more but due to limit, my access was limited at times.

Puntos a favor:

Ease of Access to multiple devices at the same time.

Contras:

It only offers free min for a very little limited time.

Overall feedback

Comentarios: Overall, my experience has been good. Sometimes there are some annoying bugs, but I'm glad you guys are introducing new features. The custom data range filtering will be a game changer for my team.

Puntos a favor:

Some features are nice, such as being able to add subfolders, importing test cases from CSV files, and filtering by custom date range (FINALLY), dragging and dropping test cases (this is extremely helpful; we would like to see the same functionality applied in test cases inside of a test run.

Contras:

REPORTS. 1. It would be nice if we could filter reports by tags 2. It would be nice to create a report from all the projects instead of only individual ones Test runs: 1. It would be nice if we could also drag and drop the test cases inside a test run 2. It would also be a game changer if we could filter test runs by tags. My team and I would love to use tags a bit more, but at the moment, we feel its usage is pretty limited.

BrowserStack, your guaranteed path to ROI

Comentarios: Using BrowserStack has been a game changer for the many teams that I've led in different organizations who chose to subscribe, it provides guaranteed ROI and great bang for the buck, in addition to all the amazing technical features that allowed all my teams to use it effectively and efficiently. And of course to me personally as an open-source contributor, being able to test my open source project against any device or OS I can think of has been a great help to identifying and fixing issues as fast as possible. Especially after integrating BrowserStack in my GitHub Actions pipelines.

Contras:

Honestly, there's nothing I don't like about BrowserStack.

Comentarios: It's an essential tool that I enjoy using because it's well designed, fast and easy to use.

I love the speed of opening a test platform, switching to others, and how easy it is to use it and interact with text fields. I have noticed stability improvements over the years that I love.

Contras:

It can't perfectly replicate the experience of having a mobile device in my hands, so that's the main shortcoming.

Affordable app with a wide range of tools.

Comentarios: Browserstack is easy to use, comfortable to start and has the functionality I need in my work.

Browserstack is affordable for a single user – that's the main reason I chose it. As the only user in the team, I was looking for a tool that allows me to keep my documentation organised and offers an affordable plan.

Contras:

I'm a new user – haven't found any cons yet.

Comentarios: My overall experience has been moderately satisfying catering to the role i perform, As a tester i have to test application n functionality on a broader perspective in order to be accurate with results .
With wide range of emulators present becomes easy for UI and view port testing for designs which need to fit into sizes which play a major role for media based companies.

Puntos a favor:

I have been using Browserstack since the time i have started working. In my tenure of work ex i have used Browserstack at a broader level , it has helped me cover multiple aspects of testing, cater to client requirement which were specific to certain devices . In absence of physical devices BS has provided with wide range of emulator to test efficiently and with accuracy. I can do define the test coverage for platforms and devices irrespective in the presence of devices.

Contras:

1. Slowness : at time the Bs becomes slow to in terms of fetching results 2. 1out of 5 times , While doing niche UI testing the accuracy level is not reliable as the behavior changes on physical devices 3. Cost effective as compared to other tools present in market

Best platform for mobile and web application testing.

Comentarios: Overall browserstack is better than other cloud hosted competitors. Jenkins configurations are most convenient. TOSCA like codeless automation tools can be possible along with test management tools like qtest,Jira , bamboo etc.

Puntos a favor:

Best cloud hosted devices for cross platform and cross browser testing of application. Lots of devices options for mobile application testing as well. Visual testing automation is also possible. It supports almost all kind of frameworks for the selenium, appium, playwright.

Contras:

ios devices lags a lot can't work properly for manual testing. Documentations needs improvement.

Wide range of mobile devices and browsers will help to cover manual and automation testing easily. Latest devices with OS updates are launching immediately helping teams to check apps up to date. Developer options and logs helping dev team to check the issues with ease. Network stimulation,Locale testing etc features helps team to mimic real user scenarios easily. The apps for testing can Integrate easily by uploading or integration with appecenter or other platforms.

Contras:

A proper stable network connection is must .Otherwise will feel laggy and will not get a smoother experience. There are restrictions is accessing the settings menu for phones.So making changes from settings level and testing will be difficult. Each time all the sessions will get reset.So will not get a continuous testing experience it may take more time to start from the scratch some times.

Good product

Comentarios: Overall experience is good for regression testing and to resolve bug on specific devices

Proxy and debug tools are unstable, need to restart quite often.

Comentarios: I've been using BrowserStack for many years, and it's an imperative tool in web development or for viewing your website as others will see it across multiple devices.

When you work in web development, it's a necessary task to be able to view the websites you design on multiple formats such as phones, tablets, etc. Browserstack allows you to do this in one easy to use interface.

Contras:

Occasionally, it takes some time for a specific version/phone model to load up to be ready to preview or it can get stuck.

some times the latest devices are not available or there is a delay in adding. it would be nice to keep the prices affordable for Freelancers.

Must know tool for testing

Comentarios: Overall its a very helpful device for doing sanity QA or to check version specific issues as multiple versions can be checked at one place. Also it reduce dependability on actual device it its not available then also we can continue with our task and submit it as per timeline one tool can be used for multiple things that's the best as mentioned above

- It goes into non-responsive mode while using change location feature - Most recent versions for devices are not present for IOS as well as android

Browserstack helps me as QA Tester

Comentarios: My overall experience with Browserstack is a great one, helping me to test webshops using almost any mobile device, without the need of having the devices physically.

I disliked that sometimes the performance of the mobile devices might be a little low.

Great tool for any QA job

Comentarios: Overall, BrowserStack has been a great tool for QA at my current job and I have used it consistently over the last 5+ years. I can't imagine going back to not using it, now that it has become such an integral part of my day-to-day work.

Puntos a favor:

I like how it is all web-based and quickly connects to additional devices/browsers in order to test applications and web pages. It's very nice being able to officially support devices and browsers that you normally wouldn't have easy access to obtain or test against.

Contras:

Some of the paid products have steep pricing models. There are also times where devices will just get stuck on a loading screen and don't officially boot-up which can get a little annoying when you are just wanting to quickly test something.

Real easy to use

Puntos a favor:

I love Browserstack for it's ease of use and no fighting over sessions for a particular device like other rival companies. It's always available and performance is good on at least 80% of devices and desktop browsers.

Contras:

There are some performance issues with some desktop browsers like Mac, and some devices but most work flawlessly. I wish we had an option for multitaps.

What I like the most is it gives us real-time and multiple device options also live testing on an ios emulator, and can easily check by changing the location and rotating the devices, Accessibility testing, Also automation testing so helpful

Contras:

Location is very less also on Mac OS animation doesn't work properly n very slow.

Comentarios: This tool is essential for a frontend developer and tester. You can have a peace of mind that your pages display correctly on every popular device out there.

Puntos a favor:

Cross browser testing and debugging is quick, with easy to use interface. They provide real mobile and desktop browser combinations, including the newest iPhone and Android smartphones. Whatever device/browser your customers are using, they've got it. And eve though the device reaction time is not instant, you are viewing real device which is always better than even the best emulator.

Contras:

Local Testing using BrowserStack's provided binary sometimes didn't connect.

A valuable partner on our testing

Comentarios: We use BrowserStack for testing different features on virtual devices that we don't have it physically. Very useful as impossible (or very expensive) to have access to all physical elements
