Comentarios: One of the best in the business. Appriver's customer support is what really stands out among the competition.

Puntos a favor: First off, Appriver's support is top notch. They are fantastic!
The platform itself just works. Since it is hosted, the SPAM never even touches your mail server, reducing overhead and bandwidth, along with unwanted SPAM and Viruses. The online tools make it super easy to administer your account and share access and control with other users in your organization. Their reseller program for MSPs is great and has a central console where you can administer all of your clients from a single pane of glass.

Contras: There is constantly work being done on the UI and on the back-end. While this can also be a big advantage, often times there are UI bugs or weird quirks that require reaching out to support. (But since their support is fantastic, it's rarely a show-stopper.)

Best anti spam service ... period.

Comentarios: a very well rounded spam filter. I don't have to worry about my servers getting overloaded or bandwidth eaten up with a spam attack.

Puntos a favor: It just works. Unbelievable, but true. Being cloud hosted means the your server is not doing all the work and your bandwidth is not tied up. Want to take your email server offline for a few hours to do maintenance? Not a problem. AppRiver will store your email until the server returns online. In a disaster recovery mode, this would be invaluable. They can hold your email for days if needed. Their support is over the top. Response time is in minutes, not hours. Could not imagine email without it.

Contras: Can't say that I've ever had a bad experience with them. The product is constantly evolving and sometimes that can be a challenge finding where someone got moved. Seems like that is the new normal for everything and not just App River.

Comentarios: I like the software very much

Puntos a favor: Appriver is a very easy product to manage and use.

Contras: The only con I can think of is it is sometimes hard to find emails. They are sometimes listed in different areas depending on the reason they were blocked.

Comentarios: Great at first, awful as of late. Actively looking for a replacement service.

Puntos a favor: Easy to setup. Filter spam, virus's and malware very well.

Contras: Currently their system seems to be over committed. Unannounced hardware upgrades brings your inbound email flow to a halt for up to two hours when we are receiving time sensitive email orders and voicemail-emails. Has happened a four times over past couple months. Email will also stop flowing for 5 or 6 minutes randomly through the day. Status page all shows up when email stops flowing so that is clearly not an automated status system. It will be your job to monitor their servers :/ as their customer service, when first speaking with, will tell you there is nothing wrong in their system. That is until you insist they look. Until they solve their internal system problems, and they start committing to communication with customers about maintenance, I would be very hesitant about recommending them.

Comentarios: Customers were always very happy with the service that AppRiver provided.

Puntos a favor: AppRiver integrates smoothly with client accounts via email address and Exchange Server information. Emails can be blocked via sender, ip address, or meta-data. The false positives are agreeable, and really add to the robustness of the product. Controls and navigation are highly intuitive. Catch-release/ quarantine is painless and instant.

Contras: The intuitiveness of the controls and navigation are no so much to non-advanced users.

Puntos a favor: Setup was extremely easy with the guides; provided detailing exactly what changes needed to be made to get mail flowing through their servers first. Price is definitely worth the money. It's better to be safe than get all your financial data hacked.

Contras: They have had a couple outages but honestly, I didn't mind. I think they just need to upgrade their server.

Puntos a favor: pretty effective, consistently reliable in filtering out harmful or spam email. no worries about viruses/trojans at all

Contras: sometimes issues with configuring time that reports are sent, but its constantly improving and its just a really good software

Comentarios: I got rid of all the junk mail. They send me the good mail directly to my inbox.

Puntos a favor: It intercepts junk mail and viruses before they reach the inbox or servers. Great support, questions are answered almost immediately by informed support personnel

Contras: Can't configure time of day for daily spam reports (works fine for Eastern/Central time, but inconvenient for our European staff.
