WE love RMS and wish we had switched sooner!

Comentarios: Overall our experience has been great! All the automation saves us lots of time and makes us look more professional as well.

We like that it's cloud-based so we can access it from anywhere on any device at any time we choose. It's also very user-friendly for those taking reservations and the ability to easily take online reservations is great.

Contras:

Can be a little challenging when making changes in the backend, but if we ever have any issues tech support walks us through it.

Comentarios: Still learning setup and operation - this business is new to RMS and challenging to me and RMS. The database and training setup occurred during the busiest time of our Show. Many issues have been resolved over the past couple of months. More to come. All RMS local and international staff have been very supportive and understanding of my needs.

The worst system and experience. Never ever RMS

Comentarios: I have been introduce with RMS connection on December 2022 name of sales [sensitive content hidden]. After introducing of the demo was promised -system have a great use on the computer and mobile version is responding perfectly(which was the most important to me) - set up takes few days and will be all,set up to the desired result - training team is professional - support is professional and responding 24 hours -system is fast -integration of the system and Quickbooks is free EctWhile I sign the contract and paid for the training fee 1700 dirham I quick start completing all papers I was asked for. However once training started, after 2 session the team stopped as many options was not set properly. I have kept waiting for months and no one getting back to me. I have re call and recall and finally I had response that the training will restart on June 2 , 2023 (6 month after the sign of the contract) Thought ok and had fixed a meeting with new training team this time name [sensitive content hidden]. From the first day of training the things has stopped working again. Many errors coming, many things are not set, cleaning fees, financial parts. Anyway keep going till [sensitive content hidden] fixed some and again very pation 3 to 4 days to be done. Fail to connect any of OTA. They will never respond again

Nothing to like, the promises are fake, they will take the money from you and sent you to very unprofessional people. Fail to connect and over booking a lot. Picked wrong prices.

Gets the job done

Comentarios: Overall fairly easy to get your head around for the basics. Good over view of availability.

Puntos a favor:

Almost all the rooms show on one screen and for multiple weeks. It also keeps a record of old bookings that you can access when needed.

Contras:

For a large group booking you cant put packages on multiple rooms at the one time. You have to enter them all individually. Often the totals when creating one tariff for the group adds up to the right amount in the totals but in the accom when you go to print a invoice the total is different. If you go out of the booking and refresh the whole booking system it often corrects it. Also invoices arent arriving in guests companies in boxes. So I have to print off the invoice and send it via our scanner to the guest.

Exceptional Service on a Sunday Morning

Comentarios: Overall I enjoy the system because of the extra features. How much you can edit the sales and product listings.

I really enjoy how many features the system holds. It takes a while to learn but the system really has options for every application. Ease of use is not always simple but customer support is very helpful

Contras:

It is tricky to know exactly where to go to streamline working through an issue. Most errors are solvable and explainable it’s just learning where to look.

Comentarios: Easy to train employees on the system. Great audit trail.

We implemented RMS during our off season and have been using it for about 8 months. It's a huge improvement over our previous software. I love the online booking and it's saved us a lot of time and headache. When you get the rates set up correctly, the system is great at calculating everything (on simple reservations), so you don't have to plug in the rates. The user interface is easy to view.

Contras:

Split reservations are a challenge, rates don't calculate correctly. Group reservations are clunky. Custom reporting isn't very intuitive.

We have been sold on other systems, made the change and always end up back!

Comentarios: We have actually moved to 2 other well known systems and moved back because we have found none of them stand up to RMS.

I love all of the features, in addition to just reservations, we use it all. Maintenance management, texting, interactive documents, online booking, meter reading and more.

Contras:

Online booking is still a bit clunky. The interactive map is difficult to find from a mobile device. I wish customers could choose to pay online with the vault.

My Online Travel Help

Comentarios: With RMS Cloud, I found a travel assistant I can rely on and trust with my bookings. I never have to worry if the hotels are legit or if my payments go through. I am confident that it's all taken cared of.

What I like most about the RMS Cloud is it makes makes my booking reservations easy and they have this calendar system to remind me of my upcoming trips.

So far it serves its purpose as my online travel assistant so it's all good.

Review of RMS Ultra Lite

Comentarios: I have found that RMS is incredibly capable but not so user friendly from my home with the desk top PC. With my laptop it has most often been when we are overseas and then the system has given me major headaches. The solutions are often there but much of the information inside FAQ's, for example, isn't aimed at users who are not using the full version.

The relatively low cost is its best benefit.

Contras:

I have never considered the RMS system to be as "user friendly" as the systems that I had previously used. Perhaps it's simply the Ultra Lite version, whch RMS no longer want to support, but the cost structure of the next step up (RMS Lite) is far too great for me.

Support almost non existant and you cant really talk to humans and when you do they brush you off

Comentarios: Would not recommend at all. Certainly have only found two staff easy to deal with [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] being amazing.. The rest not so much.

When we first spoke to them they offered / really sold us on the product and it was a bit like following sheep. Its widely used so must be great - but certainly not for all industires. We like that it offers a booking system / management system all in one.... However ... Do your research !!

Contras:

The software in itself is very complex and takes a lot of training to use - all of which you have to pay for becasue its outsourced. Once proficient I'm sure it offers everything you need although becasue they have tried to cover so many industries it very convoluted. The set up takes a LOT of time and a lot of loading and if you are not a hotel I would think very carefully before choosing this product. If you are a holiday home company or a company that has more than a few room / rate options its a long long long tedious set up all of which you are paying for and the only support option is through the system itself and the staff close support queries before they are fixed. It does NOT include any document management system, its included triggered email messages ALL end up in peoples spam folders, it has no option to load or personalize things, it DOES NOT WORK ON PHONE OR IPAD, the app is VERY UNFRIENDLY and stalls constantly. The program itself hangs constantly and as you need to work on it 12 hours a day its very frustrating and all the while you are paying through the nose. When you ask for compensation for your loaded work schedule becasue the program that's supposed to make life easier doesn't they are extremely rude and defensive.

I like the new features for the Registration Card & the COVID-19 Tracing. It's also made it easier uploading guest details, photo id etc. Less paper trail.

Contras:

When loading rates, it can get frustrating when for example, we have 3 different season and rates within RMS. getting this to trigger or channel those rate on exact dates for online Agents, I guess it all about trouble shooting between the 2 servers. Plus it was hard when call Support and you would get 2 different answers from 2 different staff never the same operator.

Comentarios: I'm still in the early stages of RMS so I can't give a overall assessment of the system.

I think once I learn the in and out of all of the side menu, and all the functionality of the data base, it could be very compatible for our company. In all fairness to RMS the owner of our company didn't notify me of any of the classes, so I was nearly operating blind on the first day of use. BUT the help/knowledge base was a life saver.

Contras:

My first complaint will be that there isn't an operating manual. Even a frozen pizza comes with step by step instructions. The software leans heavy on the side of the hotel industry. I think RMS is working on being RV park friendly but they still have some work to do. As an example with our previous data base we were able to move reservations quickly and easily to different sites to maximize spaces as to fill the park quicker. With RMS moving dozens of reservations over a 4, 5, 6, month period is extremely difficult to the point we will most likely stop doing it.

Becoming a Disappointment

Comentarios: The support people are wonderful and very knowledgeable about the system. My issues with the software are the upgrades that change 'it's our way or no way' rather than an option, ie the guest screen had options that we found very useful when taking a booking are now behind an icon

When I first started using this software I was new to the industry and knew no other system. It was easy to learn and the help made learning everyday functions easy.

Contras:

Now having used the software for for 18mths there are what I would expect basic functions to run a motel that are just not there/can't be done.
