I really enjoy how it is able to integrate with other systems to enhance the capabilities or to leverage existing information instead of having to recreate everything.

Contras:

I don't know if the issue was software-based, or due to admin error, however. I think part of the problem is that the system can be complicated in setting up, and needs expertise to fully leverage.

The software is feature-rich from the planning stages of an event through to the execution. WYSIWYG site development, conditional logic in emails and easy-to-develop registration process make planning easy. OnArrival and Attendee Hub make the constituent experience seamless and positive.

Contras:

The libraries available to store your event documents and graphics need an update for ease-of-use.

Comentarios: My overall experience with CVENT is pretty good. We use this platform regularly as we conduct many events in a year. I do not feel like it is very user friendly but it does have capabilities that other platforms do not have which is vital to the way we gather data during the registration process.

Puntos a favor:

CVENT has a lot of capabilities that other platforms do not such as the ability to link questions, have sub questions and do conditional settings. The customer support is great and has always been able to find a solution to my issues.

Contras:

There are often many areas you have to modify for a single final action. For example, for an event to be live, you have to have the event live, the registration active AND the admission types active. Some of the design features are very limited and modifying things like images can be very challenging. We often have repeat business and are finding that when we copy an event, there are a lot of hidden settings that get copied over and can make the new copy a bit messy.

Powerful Event Management with Marketing

Comentarios: Overall, it has been a good experience with Cvent Event Management. I appreciate the support team that helped us setup the software and also answered to our queries afterwards. I think support is extremely important when using software. I love that we can run email marketing campaigns right from the software which saves a lot of time as I don't have to export all contact information and characteristics to other email marking software.

Puntos a favor:

The customer support of Cvent is top notch. Once, I couldn't figure out how to do a simple thing and I reached out to support and they seemed to be happy to help me. Regarding feature, I like the attendee management feature and the ability to export event reports. This makes it easier to plan further event.

Contras:

There can be significant learning curve. I personally roamed around the software for week before I could use it as I wanted to. I wish the developers focused on user experience because I believe there is definitely rooms for improvement. However, once we learn - its a powerful piece of amazing software.

Comentarios: Overall, I have had great experiences with Cvent and it always runs our registration smoothly.

I like that everything is in one place and I can organize all my attendees for each event easily.

Contras:

Sometimes links do not work and I need to add and delete sessions from people and if they are not in the same registration type it gets tricky.

Complex Software Perfect for Our Complex Conference

Cvent has exceptional customer support!!!! Cvent provides a seamless registration - register online, selecting sessions, making payments, etc. The event app provides conference info, attendee schedules, networking opportunities and interactive features. The reporting tool allows us to track attendee engagement and much more to make our conferences better in the future.

Contras:

There are no downsides to using Cvent, however, there is a learning curve. The cost is higher than other options but Cvent is by far the most, robust, comprehensive platform.

Comentarios: I have been using Cvent since 2014 and can say that I have had a great experience over the past 10 years and have seen so many new updates and features rolled out that make me excited to see what they can offer in the future, as well.

I like having the ability to execute an event from its inception all the way through execution and post-event using all of the Cvent platform whether it be via the Event Management platform, the mobile app, and onsite management.

Contras:

The only con I would say is there is a limit to how customized you can make things at a certain point.

Need more training and improvements on abstract manager. Need a way to score the submission by a reviewer.

I like that the management portion of the platform integrates with all of their solutions and tools across the platform.

Contras:

Currently, my least favorite part of the event management portion is the reporting feature. It is hard to create the reports we need with the limited flexibility. Our internal team has a hard time understanding reports.

Cvent can be as robust or as simple as you would like it. I have used it to create multi-day, multi-session events or a simple one hour webinar. It has enough features to easily handle everything.

Contras:

Oftentimes, I have trouble with the minor details, like making sure I click the sync to HubSpot button when launching an event or remembering where I need to go to update the calendar description when someone clicks the 'add to calendar' button.

Comentarios: I have been using Cvent since my past 2 organisations for different products.One good thing is it's user friendly, once you start exploring its simple but there should be some FAQ kind of Video simulations which might help the user incase they are stuck with a feature within a feature

Comentarios: I highly recommend it. Support is always there to help and are quick with their replies. Being able to manage the attendees has been very easy with information right at your fingertops.

Once you know how to use it, it has all information you need to manage an event. The registration is easy for attendees. Managing the attendees is easy with the reports you can run.

Contras:

Takes getting used to. Training could be more complete. I feel like the training videos do not cover everything. Needs some updates to make it smoother.

Vast functionality which ticks all of our boxes as a business. We not only use cvent to facilitate virtual events, but also hybrid and in person too. We enjoy using the on arrival software for checking attendees into events, which speeds up the entire process and provides realtime data on how attendance is going throughout the arrival period.Setting up event and registration pages is easy, interactive and the front end always looks great and provides an overall easy experience for our registerting attendees.

Contras:

Sometimes the simple functionality is made overly complex in cvent to actually deliver. But when it is, it works great.Their badge printing needs to be easier to facilitate.

Website, registration, email designers are super helpful. I have been using Cvent for 10+ years and have transitioned from Cvent "Classic" to Cvent "Blue" and the improvements are so helpful and efficient!

Contras:

Submitting payments for groups of registrants, post-registration, is a difficulty we continue to run into. As a healthcare system, mainly providing educational events for our medical staff - many folks register for an event at separate times as their team-mates, but when it comes time to pay the fees on a corporate card - it is a pain not being able to select multiple registrants to bundle into one payment process.
