CLIO for Efficiency

Comentarios: Overall I see much more pros than cons. It is absolutely worth the money. I have been able to restructure certain areas of the firm to be more effective and our production has been going up annually since using CLIO.

Puntos a favor:

Ease of use, e-signing with ease, invoices can be unique to our firm with templates for each client, cleaning up others time entries are simple as admin, and it just overall makes my job more efficient and enjoyable.

Contras:

It needs work on adding my state laws and guidelines into the calendar. For example if I have a CT slip and fall case, it would be nice if the calendar prompted me to enter all my scheduling order dates, remind me when discovery is due per statute, etc… also an in office chat feature would be nice too! When we save emails from outlook the organization is not helpful for some attorneys and we cannot edit that. Also we need AI integrations!

Clio database organization

Comentarios: Clio is a good overall software that is useful in maintaining a detailed and organized database, however, its limitation in functionalities is not adequate for our field.

Comentarios: I use it for everything. My phone call notes and client meetings. I print my notes for files to help staff know what I know. We only use Clio for task and case upkeep so all the information and status is in one place.

Efficient for case management, designed for easy use and the most responsive team I’ve ever seen for management application.

Contras:

I would like to have more options for my calendar (more like a daytimer feel) with a calendar view that supports tasks management and notes.

Comentarios: Good. We use the program everyday. It keeps the our litigation calendar very organized.

Comentarios: We've been a User since 2010 and Clio has evolved throughout the years to meet our needs with the age of modern technology especially and advances out on the market. This allows us to meet our Client's expectations and bill them accordingly. Using the templates and workflows allows you to be more efficient with your day to day.

Extremely user friendly. You can tailor the platform to meet your firms particular needs regarding your area of practice.

Contras:

Duplicate Contacts when logging emails. I believe that is being fixed.

Comentarios: We are never going back to other platforms. Other "attorney centric" solutions for document management, client relationship management, timekeeping and billing are LESS intuitive and MORE expensive.

Clio is intuitive and provides excellent document management, client relationship management, timekeeping and billing all in one platform for a reasonable price with no long term commitments.

Contras:

On occasion Clio will have glitches - connectivity issues. When that happens, we're at a standstill. Fortunately, it doesn't occur often, and when it does it is short lived.

Comentarios: I have used CLIO at two other firms and brought it on to Story Law. Was the best decision we ever made. Saves us administrative time which in turn promotes productivity and profit.

We love that we have all data, participants, documents, contacts, email/communication journaling, calendaring all in one place. The mobile app is great for on the go use and tracking time when you are away from the office. The client portal is a great tool for tracking what the client has provided and what is still needed. The time Clio saves us in administrative work has been invaluable.

Contras:

Mapping with Quick Books does not match up the best. Some of the integrations are still work in progress. No integration with MyPleadings.

Comentarios: I was misled in the sales call and they talked me into purchasing Grow. Boy, what a mistake! Grow is a product that promises to automate the intake experience but does not work as advertised at all. The tech support seems unable to figure out the problems I am having, and paying for premium support was one more waste of money.

Manage makes it easy to send bills and get paid electronically. It can maintain files and track time.

Contras:

Grow is a useless product that doesn't really work, and premium tech support is a waste of money.

Comentarios: I love the benefits for Clio and how it is always improving

I love how customizable this program is. I can create my own fields and documents. I love the organization options. I love how we can template our own information to create a matter. It's a very useful tool. I also love the clio portal and the ability to text our clients.

Contras:

The only issue I have with clio is the email attachments need to be saved to the file it's self, unless you save the entire email. It will be routed to an attachments file and that can be difficult to find if you have many files.

Clio Is the Most Useful Database We have Used

Comentarios: Overall Clio was a vast improvement to our previous programs (Tabs 3 and Abacus). The change in customer service however has dampened my enthusiasm..

Integration of payment, invoicing and CRM I used to love the customer service but now....NO

Contras:

Difficult to customize. Customer Service has gone from knowledgeable Canadian staff to foreign people not familiar with the program. You are often on your own to try to resolve questions - or make multiple queries.

Comentarios: We really have benefitted from our switch to Clio: we are able to track files better, share calendars better, and invoices don't get forgotten anymore.

We love the invoicing the most - we are sure we have re-captured getting paid for many files we used to not be able to track and get paid for. Now we can send an invoice online and get paid online too. Making a bill is quick and easy, and our staff even thinks fun!

Contras:

We were considering moving our document storage to Clio, but we couldn't preset files with our folder organization system and it seemed more difficult to attach files to emails, so we didn't end up doing this. Also, when sending an email from Clio, I would prefer that it auto-saves it to the Clio file.

Comentarios: Excellent. I highly recommend Clio and it is worth the cost. I also appreciate the ongoing CLE opportunities, some of which are free.

Clio helped me hit the ground running when I opened my solo practice. Nearly every feature is user intuitive, and I have already been delighted to see Clio continue to upgrade its services in the two years I have used them. I couldn't survive (i.e. stay organized) without all of its features, billing, document e-signature service, and access to its partner, Proof for service of process.

Contras:

Initially I was disappointed that Clio Grow and Clio Manage didn't "talk" to one another. I love Clio Grow to keep track of leads and potential clients, and I like the ability to transfer a file over to Clio Manage. I didn't like that they weren't truly in sync. However, Clio has worked to solve that pet peeve and is continuing to make improvements.

Get It. It's Literally A Lifesaver.

Comentarios: Great! The people and the organization are great, and they're constantly giving as a company. They give you resources on accounting, technology, business building, client management, time management, everything you can think of to run a business as an attorney. There are SO many things you can do with Clio, I'm just scratching the surface. And they're still improving and adding more things on! It really is the best thing in the world for what you're paying. I 110% recommend Clio to any attorney in the world; it's the best thing since sliced bread, and it's truly a lifesaver.

Puntos a favor:

Easy to Use, Does literally everything I can want as an attorney. Great use of technology to streamline my practice and make normal tasks take seconds (drafting, reminding clients of court dates, etc). Very quick response time from their tech support, and most of the people are very nice and courteous even if they can't help you with what you want. The fact that they continuously update, make changes, and add features that we either wanted or didn't know we wanted until now, especially for such a low monthly price.

Contras:

The aesthetics of some of the features. Some of the features don't work as well as I want or there are little glitches on my computer (windows that pop up saying things I don't quite understand as a lay person haha), but these can likely be solved by talking to tech support. Some of the tech support people aren't that helpful, or will refer you to call their hotline so they can set up a Zoom call so you can share your screen and they can see the problem, which takes a whole lot longer than I would like. But generally they do solve the problem pretty easily.

Clio: Great for what you need

Comentarios: Clio is a great, basic legal site that provides most of what you need. Very easy to use, the scheduling features are top-notch, and they have the best customer service I've ever seen. Only downsides is that it's very basic and does provide a full amount of features, despite the constant updates.

i like that I am able to streamline the intake process in Clio Grow and then pass the baton to my colleagues seamlessly in Clio Manage and Clio Draft

Contras:

There are still some things that need improvement, but i love that the support team is always so helpful and try to find workarounds for me, and then they take our suggestions seriously and send those to their design team to try to figure out how to put those suggestions in action.
