Para uso no intensivo, el mejor TPV

Comentarios: Para quienes necesitamos procesar pagos en persona pocas veces al año, no nos interesa toda la burocracia, requisitos y posible problemas de un TPV convencional, pero con SumUp no tenemos ese problema porque podemos 'apagarlo' cuando nos apetezca y volver a hacerlo funcionar en minutos sin mayor problema y volver a procesarlos.

Puntos a favor:

Es rápido, estéticamente moderno y todos los pagos te los manda a su nube, que con el usuario puedes crear informes detallados y exactos de los pagos, tickets individuales y demás, sin tener que ir tecleando el botón de imprimir copia.

Contras:

El inconveniente de que no imprima (la versión que tenemos, la air), es que las facturas tienen que solicitarse y por tanto puede acabar siendo un poco molesto en el caso de que muchos lo pidan, aunque he leído que puedes generar facturas automáticas como si fueran cargos del banco al recibir el pago con una tarjeta, pero tendré que hablar con atención al cliente para confirmar si se puede hacer y cómo es.

Utilisimo procesador de pagos en puntos de venta portátiles

Comentarios: Necesitábamos un aparato fácil de llevar para hacer nuestro punto de venta de entradas, las empresas se quedan un porcentaje bastante alto o cobran luego al cliente por esa gestión, así que con este producto podemos tener un tpv portátil y fácil de llevar a nuestros eventos y vender las entradas nosotros mismos pudiendo cobrar con tarjeta sin problemas.

Puntos a favor:

Lo fácil de llevar que es, en un bolsillo apenas se nota, el tener todos los datos en la aplicación, la baja comisión del 1% que aunque un TPV comercial tenga una menor, tienes que pagar una tasa mensual o anual, que a nosotros no nos interesa por la temporalidad tan irregular que tenemos en los eventos.

Contras:

Alguna vez se le va internet o la conexión al aparato y se convierte en un problema, en un momento crítico no poder recuperar esa conexión se convierte en una pesadilla, nos pasó una vez pero al rato volvió, aunque nos hizo atrasar todo.

Facilidad y funcionalidad

Comentarios: En general nuestra experiencia con SumUp On ha sido muy gratificante ya que ha aportado a nuestra empresa un servicio extra necesario, facilitando la gestión de cobros y pagos.

Puntos a favor:

Lo que mas nos ha gustado del software es que tiene un montón de características en el mismo software, desde administrador de facturas, a tienda online e incluso dispone de una tarjeta física vinculable a tu cuenta. Además lo que nos gusta mucho son la variedad de dispositivos TPV que tienen, funcionan super bien, son elegantes y a muy buen precio, perfectos para los pagos en persona de nuestro negocio.

Contras:

Lo que menos nos ha gustado por decir algo es que las facturas, recibos y correos electrónicos están muy limitados ha personalizarlos, es decir únicamente puedes poner tu logotipo como mucho y la información de tu empresa, pero mantienen una estructura fija que no puede ser modificada.

Comentarios: Overall it helped us a lot to streamline our business activities and have a professional look accepting cards on the fly and also on our website. We are satisfied but support can be better (with less automation and more skilled agents

It's ease of access (for new users), ease of use of the whole platform and its terminals and pricing plans that greatly simplify the whole thing.

Contras:

Its support is valid if you have commonly adressable issues, but if you have a specific need or problem to be solved you can get pretty frustrated pretty rapidly due to bots and slow response time.

Do not buy if you’re in Australia

Comentarios: Do not get this if you’re in Australia. Buy square instead. I purchased 5.5 weeks before my market event for Christmas, where I had purchased a lot of stock to sell. The device came quickly, I’ll give them that. I set it up, loaded all my products on the back end and did the verification process. The reader sat there for the rest of the time until two days before my event, I turned it on just to make sure it was working. Everything seemed fine but something in the app said I needed to verify myself, which I had already done (sent my drivers license etc), so I did it again and it said it should only take a few hours to verify, which was fine because I still had two days until the event. The day before it was still not verified but in the app it tells you that it’s connected and working, so I assumed it would be ok after going through the verification process twice already! There’s also no number to call, so you don’t have a lot of options or support on a weekend. I got to the event and the reader declined ALL payments because of a security issue. I lost thousands of dollars in sales because nobody caries cash anymore. I sent a support ticket with all of this info and I get a response THREE days later saying that my account is now verified and I can start taking transactions. Bit late and I can’t get rid of this Christmas stock now until Christmas 2024. 6 months of planning down the drain because I decided to give SumUp a go, when I should have just gone with Square.

It’s relatively low cost upfront and cheaper transaction fees but I never got to use it!

Contras:

Customer service is non existent. You have to verify yourself multiple times and then it’s likely it won’t accept payments on the day you need it most

Terrible system and bad service

Comentarios: Would never recommend. They signed me up, took my money, and left me hanging with nothing but problems. This company needs to just shut down as a POS

Comentarios: Was very easy to setup my products and divide into categories.

Easy to set up and use. You can collect cash too which makes it easier to keep track of your daily sales

SumUp Does The Job

Puntos a favor:

I like the fact that SumUp is mobile. All I have to do is download the app to a device with the internet, pair the NFC reader, and go about my business. I don't have to charge the NFC often either. It lasts for days before needing a charge, so if I forget to charge it, I'm still good to go.

Contras:

There is nothing at this time that I don't like about Sumup. It does the job.

A very good payment processing system

Nothing- I really like the system! It’s easy and responsive. The only thing I could say is that when you are trying to set up a transaction, if the customer no longer wants it, you can’t seem to press back on the card reader or app to cancel

Fivestar is great!

Puntos a favor:

I use fivestar quite a bit when going to Once upon a child to buy gently used clothes for my kids. It is based off of a points system and occasionally get coupons to certain places on it.

Contras:

I wish more business would join fivestars. I feel that we are in a society now that a lot of people like having a rewards program and it's a good business builder for smaller businesses as well.

Sum up good for card or remote payment links

Comentarios: I've never had any issues, occasionally a connection issue but a simple reset sorted it.

In my business the sumup card reader is critical as students and parents all naturally assume card payment facilities are available and setup for bank transfer etc was very straightforward

Contras:

It seems certain cards (mainly amex) take quite a few days for payments to clear. No idea why
