Cost effective and time saving tool
Comentarios: Saves time and costs. Makes one person able to handle different requests form a customer- patient.
Puntos a favor: Software represents multiple tools in one. Different aspects of daily activities ( administrative and professional) are gathered under one toll which makes pulling out necessary data timely and efficient. Some of the perks are treatment cards, imaging and financial information available for all users. Also, keeping financial information attached for each patient and possibility of extracting reports such as payment summary and walkout statement are lifesaving when it comes to explaining to a patient what are they financial obligations.
Contras: It could take a while to train new employee how to use this software. The main obstacle comes from complexity of the software itself. Facts that you have all different aspects united under one program makes training little bit longer and more demanding for non experienced staff.

Very widely used in the dental/orthodintic industry.
Comentarios: Although costly, the usefulness of Dolphin Imaging and Management solutions allows the program to pay for itself.
Puntos a favor:
- Intuitive design, great interface once fully understood.
- Treatment cards serve as personalized mini databases for each patient, recording all visits, treatment types, and dental hardware used. This helps track costs, and treatment duration for each patient.
- Data can be accessed remotely from home, or from a different practice.
Contras: Can be difficult to implement and use without costly training. The program itself is costly, and if located in Canada, trainers are most likely flown in from the USA which can add to the cost. It is best to get all employees on board at once, as the initial day (setup, assessment, travel) costs the most.
