Comentarios: Overall it seems to work well however if you dont touch it for a month or so between uses its a little slow to get up and running again.

Puntos a favor: The Hello messenger is a great option for people looking to turn any TV into a meeting room hub. We have one set up in our boardroom with a 55" TV and it has been fantastic for skype and zoom meeting of which we do a lot of.

Contras: sometimes the software seems a little buggy

Comentarios: Great so far. Yet to test fully.

Puntos a favor: It’s nicely done. Featured. Convenient. Works seamlessly with hello device.

Contras: Nothing much. The device video quality is not as good as the polycom.

Comentarios: I’m using it at home, so overall functionality is good for me. I’m hoping it becomes easier to use over time, and would definitely appreciate a higher-end (physical) camera.

Puntos a favor: Hello is packed with features: it provides its own conference system (similar to BlueJeans, etc), which is very good, plus things like direct calls, camera streaming, live streaming and so on. It uses an Android OS, which means it comes also with all sorts of apps (Skype, BlueJeans, every other communication app out there, plus Netflix, etc). Tech support is great: always available and helpful 24x7 on chat, and even on live video calls! Impressive, never seen support like this.

Contras: It’s clearly still under development: some features are missing (you can’t position the device upside down, only recently it was possible to turn off an annoying front light), others are complex (interaction between device and app is very complicated), and I was a bit disappointed with the camera: zoom is by software only, so focusing on a person means image quality is gone. Software seems to be under active development, though, so hopefully missing/complex features will improve over time.

Thank you very much for the review. Your points are all vaild and it is true that we are heavly investing on developing all the features required from users.

Cons you mentioned: "position the device upside down". The software allows you to rotate the device and the picture will rotate.

"interaction between device and app is very complicated" we are working on simplifying the interaction of the app with the device as much as possible.
