Comentarios: The ability to remotely control another persons computer.

Puntos a favor: I have only worked within Remo and have found it to be a solid product that allows for the remote control of an end users computer. The product shows a lot of potential and I have overall been happy with my experience using the program and most of all I have been happy with the Pilixo staff's willingness to seek constructive criticism in the interest of continuing to better the product.

Contras: We tried working with the Remo Assist Feature with very little success. Using the PIN CODE option the connection will hang and never establish itself. Using the "COPY LINK" option the executable does not download and using the "SEND BY EMAIL" option a new Google Chrome window opens, but nothing sends (I think the program is trying to use the default email program which does not lend itself well to our G-Suite environment). To reiterate a request I sent to Remo the other day, it would be great if we could see if a computer is actively being used (and how long it has been inactive for) prior to signing into it. This would allow us to check if a customer is actively using their computer and if they are not then we know if it is a good time for us to sign in and make adjustments to it. This is infrequent, but occasionally the computer being controlled will stop taking my input (keyboard and mouse); however, the local end users input is still accepted. I close and then reopen the session and my control is reestablished.

Comentarios: Increased client efficiency. Removed all issues with client deployments thanks to the thin client and the HTML5 nature of the product.

Puntos a favor: I came across this software when I was looking for a remote managing tool for a client. The fact that the client is HTML5 based makes it incredibly easy to deploy and use regardless of location or device used (including mobile!) which was a must for us. Performance was also beyond expectation, way faster than any other similar product I've used. I was really impressed with the competence of the support team as well. I've actually had the chance to meet the product team during a trip and it was refreshing to see such a dedicated group working on a new product in a sector that is otherwise quite stale.

Contras: The only thing I can say so far it that the UI was originally lacking a little in some areas, but the last release has introduced a lot of improvements. A lot of the latest changes were in fact based on direct customer feedback. This is a statement to how the product team really listen to their customer (something you definitely don't get with the other "big players").

Comentarios: Convenient. Flexible. Adaptable.

Puntos a favor: I love that I can work remotely with my team at ease. One of the biggest problems I encounter when working remotely is being able to initiate communication or present ideas as the person might be away from the computer. With Remo, I'm able to be on standby with my teammates if they need to look for me, essentially the same as if I was in an office with them and I were to walk over to their table to ask for their help.

Contras: So far it's been helpful in solving my problems.

Remo is a great Sococo alternative

Comentarios: We have a fully remote team of 15 people, and a "virtual office" app like Remo is vital to clearly communicate online presence and status, provide team members with the ability to quickly video-call each other throughout the workday with minimum hassle, and foster a sense of belonging to a bigger team.

Puntos a favor: An improved version of Sococo: good performance, great screen share and whiteboard, good user interface. Less stupid name as well.

Contras: No mobile app, no standalone app for PC, you must use Google Chrome to use it. Minor complaints: no Slack integraton, also there is only one office layout and it doesn't look very good. Some spaces on Sococo are more visually appealing and detailed.

Puntos a favor: I love that I am able to bring my team together in a digital space. It allows me to have meetings with the entire team and with a part of it while I also give my employees the opportunity to be location free. Its a great tool for remote workers and teams

Contras: I wish we could have more functionalities that will help to bring the team togheter.
