Comentarios: I have used numerous EMR system in the past. In the clinic alone, this the third one we used. Praxis cuts back on my documentation time to less than an hour a day which is pretty good considering that I see > 20 patient a day. Technical support is outstanding. Very welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable.

No EHR is perfect, and Praxis does require online training but once you get the hang of it, Praxis lets you document far more quickly than the other systems, with far less clicking. This in itself really makes all the difference in the world!​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

There is nothing worth while about this program. It is not user friendly, you need an IT degree to form templates and the support is almost non existent.

Comentarios: This EMR has been a boon for our work-life, and our personal lives and has helped us provide better care to all our patients.

We have been using Praxis for several years now, and it’s been a total game-changer for our practice. The AI system is great and it’s like having a scribe or a personal assistant that learns from our charting as we see patients, and it also learns from our staff within the office. What I like most is how well Praxis fits into the workflow of the entire office. Praxis seems to know what we need before we even ask, which has made everything much smoother over time. It's far better than the system we were using before which I personally hated. I won't even go there! The flexibility of Praxis really sets it apart from all other systems we have used. I can customize it to match each of our specific needs, whether I am documenting patient visits or managing prescriptions. It’s fast, straightforward, and has saved lots of time in my life so I'm a huge fan. I recommend Praxis to everyone.

Saving Time and $$$ with Praxis

Comentarios: Our experience with Praxis has been fantastic—hands down the best EHR system I've worked with in my 20-year career (and that’s a lot of systems!). I specifically wanted something with AI capabilities, and Praxis has delivered beautifully. It’s impressive how the system learns and adapts as you use it, making it more intuitive over time. The Praxis team is also actively engaged in product development, genuinely prioritizing user needs, which was refreshing compared to our last software provider. They seem committed to ongoing improvements and ensuring the software evolves with us, giving me confidence that Praxis will continue to be a reliable, user-centered system for years to come.

PRAXIS - The only AI (Concept Processor) EMR... THAT LEARNS FROM THE USER.

BUT, what Praxis has is something I have NEVER experienced with any other EMR and that is that it's corporate philosophy is that its clients are the teachers and Praxis is the student. From referrals, test results, record request, patient compliance, orders, and any things outside of your clinics four walls and your control PRAXIS "stays on top of it" so you don't have to think about it. Also... when you call support the phone is answered within 10 seconds BY A LIVE, ENGLISH SPEAKING, KNOWLEDGABLE SUPPORT STAFF MEMBER. No leaving voice mails, no call backs, no being on hold for hours. ,

Contras:

I looked at PRAXIS over 25 years ago but went with SOAPWARE by DOC's instead. That one is now defunct as so so many others became following mandated implantation requirements by ONC and other federal agencies. Praxis had the knowledge, talent and determination to keep moving forward to serve the providers, their number one priority back then and remains that way today. It was my bad for not selecting Praxis years ago.

An EMR That Easily Grows & Changes To Suit My Needs

Comentarios: Praxis has become an essential partner of my practice, not just a software provider. I know many of the employees and I've even been contacted by the [sensitive content hidden] to be sure all was well. My career is over 30 years and I've used probably dozens of EMR programs. I almost universally disliked them all, except Praxis. Praxis is dynamic, flexible, mature, and easily modifiable by end users. It stands far above other EMRs I've used.

Two major criteria that led me to select Praxis was the following. 1) I hate to repeat myself. I wanted an EMR that allowed me to develop diagnostic and treatment plans that reflect my style of care without having to repeat large groups of text for each patient with similar problems. And 2) I wanted to be certain that all problems are monitored to resolution. Praxis tracks and monitors problems over time and automates patient communication and recall. A perfect solution, and it keeps getting better.

Contras:

I've not encountered any major problems or concerns. Should I have any problems, customer support is consistent, reliable and quick.

Exceptional Support and Customization with Praxis EMR

Comentarios: My experience with Praxis EMR has been outstanding. The team consistently goes above and beyond to meet the needs of our practice, especially when it comes to implementing new integrations or features. Their support has been exceptional, making the entire process smooth and efficient.

Non-Template Based EMR that is customizable just for my needs

Comentarios: I was in a group practice for 5 years until I resigned last September. During the 5 years in my former group, I was burdened by using E-clinical works - a template based EMR that I absolutely loathed. As an epileptologist, many of my cases have complicated neurological histories that do not necessary fit with a template based EMR documatation. In addition, many of my orders are the same for each patient yet, with E clinical works, I would have to click on the same orders over and over again - wasting time that would accrue over the busy day. Some of the layout of my notes was confusing with a lot of extraneous information added to notes automatically - that had no bearing on the patient care. When I started my new practice, I absolutely did not want to have a template-based system. Lo and behold, I came across Praxis. When I did the demo, it was great that Dr. Loh himself (the CEO and a fellow physician) showed me many of the unique features of Praxis. For the most part, I am so impressed by the concept processor in that many of my cases are somewhat similar to each other in terms of the orders. If I see a case, I automatically just click on the assessment that I have set up for other similar cases and boom - my note automatically populates with the wording and phrasology that I would normally use. I just have to modify some of the details and I save a lot of time this way than having to write the same history over and over again - as I did with Eclinical works.

- Ease of Use - Customizable - Saves Time I am very happy with the template-free service. The cost is less than other EMRs (though this is not all in one EHR - I use Open Practice Solutions/Open PM as a practice management system that easily integrates with Praxis - still saving compared to Athena or other comprehensive EHR systems). Customer service is second to none especially with the initial "go live" team.

Contras:

nothing so far. I am very happy with Praxis at this time.

Best EMR for customization

Comentarios: With Praxis we are able to maintain independence and get the data we need to take care of our patients excellently while still providing big data answers to Medicare programs and insurers

Having been involved in implementation of 3 separate EMRs, Praxis satisfies all my requirements the best. It allows me to write intelligible notes that specialists and my co-workers can use, while tracking data in the way that suits the practice at the time (which changes frequently based on medical, government, ACO and insurance evolution). Praxis is my tool for tracking information the way I and others need to, while practicing and charting in a way which makes sense to me.

Contras:

I wish the local hospitals were also on Praxis!

When they had to spend time complying with government mandates. Praxis was an EMR before the government mandated their use. It was designed to care for patients, not collect data for the government.

Praxi EMR experince

We started using Praxis in 2005, when it was still quite new because its approach to medical record generation was intelligent, adaptable and grew in sophistication and capability as the underlying database grew.

Contras:

It's a remarkably lightweight and ultimately intuitive software to use. Unlike template systems, the database from which new records are drawn goes to match the clinical problems encountered in the practice exactly and to adapt to changes in practice as they occur.

Prraxis EMR- A diamond among the pack

Comentarios: As a solo provider Praxis has allowed me to save valuable charting time, allowed me to expand my clinical data base and easily integrate the administrative functions I needed.

This EMR is the most flexible and adaptable EMR I have encountered . It is easily tailored to the individual provider, easily edited for individual patient differences and even remembers the chronic problems of each patient. You determine the format rather than being given a set format, Allows for minimal mouse use rather than tying you to a "clicker". Layout is excellent , well organized and intuitive. With this EMR you are not tethered to a template that is difficult to edit and it allows you to edit notes on the fly. Prescribing format allows for individual preferences and is extremely easy to modify to each patient. Allows you to keep private notes which are hidden and diagnostic testing templates can be added at user discretion. You are not stuck with a note that has a lot of useless junk because it allows you to edit the set-up on initial installation and then add or delete as you see fit. User Support is absolutely top notch, real time availability and always had any problem solved with a single call.

Contras:

The only thing I have found that could be improved is the product logo. My only desire is an added controlled substance tool but that is already in process .

Powerful and innovative

Comentarios: With thought, I have been able to leverage the software to track time for chronic care management and the advisory function has helped me improve quality allowing me to received bonuses from MSSP.

There are so many ways to customize the software that it is intimidating. Fortunately the trainers are great at helping you translate your thoughts into assessments and forms.

Comparison of EMR's

Comentarios: To have been so fortunate to have been able to first use then compare Praxis to the EMR's used by the clinics that I've worked out of but let me use Praxis has really opened my eyes to what make a great EMR

Praxis (an EMR/ EHR, developed by a practicing doctor) thinks like a doctor, the best example that I give, is, I took over a retiring physicians practice, upon seeing one of his patients, I turned to the paper note which simply read; "Diabetes, well controlled" Interesting enough, upon turning to the lab section of the paper chart, I saw a signed and dated lab sheet that read; -A1c 6.8 -renal function (all within normal vaules) -Ldl was 68 Next, turning to the Specialist tab, I found, once again, a signed and dated ophthalmologist note that denoted a normal retinal exam, while the podiatric exam also was normal. For Dr Tate, "Diabetes, well controlled", meant the A1c was < 7, the renal function was normal, an up to date and normal diabetic eye and feet exam had recently been done. It also represented the normal review of system, examination, Assessment and Plan. Unlike template EM/EHR's, Praxis, documents the way a doctor thinks, imagine an EMR that upon picking the Assessment; "Diabetes, well controlled", then prints out all the above, including all the CPT's and ICD codes (all at the speed of thought) (not taking 6 clicks to simply send a referral), sending the billing, referrals and lab orders I'm currently in a very unique position, the company I work for, uses "Epic" (there is now way it was developed by a doctor, it takes several clicks and each click is taking your doctor away from facing the patient) to write one prescription, a good EMR does not, Praxis does not

Contras:

It's hard for me to really give a negative statement about Praxis (remember, in the last three years, I've had to use three different EMR's that are used in the hospitals, SNF or adjoining clinics, Praxis is so head and shoulders above (it's almost laughable seeing there inefficiencies)

Great EMR - No Need to Look Elsewhere

Comentarios: Prior EMRs have slowed my practice. My staff used to complain about how rigid the prior EMRs were. Some were very slow. I don't hear those concerns anymore since using Praxis. I am very pleased with how [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] and Praxis listens to their customers and clearly is in my corner to help me achieve a smoother practice operation. Affordable program. Great support. Very Satisfied. Get ready to be wowed when you start Praxis.

As a small medical practice, I have used multiple EMR platforms from small now defunct companies to the mega companies that dominate the hospital world. I have been a Praxis user for several years and am thoroughly pleased with my decision to select Praxis. The platform is unlike any other EMR that I have seen. The ability for Praxis to be molded to the needs of my practice has separated this product from the rest. Working with [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] has been a enlightening experience and I have learned much from him about EMRs, AI, and medical charting in general. [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] is driven with great passion in listening to his clients and their needs and then helping to problem solve any challenges that we are facing. The level of personal commitment to his customers is unparalleled. From a software perspective, the ease of setting new assessments to meet our needs was very easy and constantly evolves. The notes get smarter as we continue to use them by taking advantage of prior encounters using the same assessment. I was able to transition from a prior inferior EMR very quickly. The training team was excellent and at times we were more of a partnership in customizing to what I needed for my practice. My practice involves very complex patients, research visits, diagnostics, and other patient interaction types. While some of my needs were not built in to the program, the team worked with me quickly to come up with good solutions.

Contras:

All programs continue to evolve. Praxis has been doing well to address their clients needs with periodic enhanced upgrades.

Use Praxis if you would like your Physicians to have the Ability to Perform at Their Highest Ability

Comentarios: Praxis is most valuable piece of software that I use in the practice of medicine. [SENSITIVE CONTENT] their trainer, is a delight. The company works very hard to please.

Praxis is far better than what the company tells you. Praxis is the closest thing to artificial intelligence for a physician that I have every seen. The design of the program is far more powerful than what the company realizes. The design of Praxis allows generalist practice such a family medicine or general internal medicine practice to deal with generality. The design of Praxis allow allows a specialty practice in a highly regulated industry to design and use notes which are powerful, flexible, and consistent. The implementation of the program is done in a socratic method by a personal tutor who addressed my questions for months on end, and who is readily available to answer my questions. Any physician who is logical and motivated can program Praxis. If you have aspirations to have superior medical care, then use Praxis

Contras:

The Praxis corporation is far too modest about the power of product. I do not believe that the company fully realizes how good their product is. I do not believe that company fully realizes how truly exceptional their trainer, [SENSITIVE CONTENT] is. Praxis should be the industry standard by which all other electronic medical records are measured.

Best EMR on the market

Comentarios: I am no reaching my 17th year using this product. The one thing that tells you a company is solid is that many of the support people I worked with in the beginning are still there. Such longevity builds for excellence not only in design but in software support.

Infinite capability to design to my exact needs and specifications in my office. Very robust programming allows me to bring all the patient data needed to my chart note. Well designed tracking system for any type of data I wish to follow.

Contras:

None really. Praxis continues to make their software better each year.
