Paylocity simplifies HR and payroll administration

Comentarios: Paylocity allows us to centralize our human resources and payroll data, making management more simpler. Our efficiency and precision will both increase as a result of this. The unified system not only helps us save time, but also lowers costs.

Puntos a favor:

Paylocity's user-friendly interface streamlines and automates HR and payroll processes for better management. Our platform provides streamlined processes and thorough reporting tools, guaranteeing effective administration and meeting regulatory benchmarks. Because of this, Paylocity is an essential tool for any company.

Contras:

Paylocity's mobile app is currently more limited in functionality than the desktop version. If the app were upgraded and expanded, the user experience would be more in line with that of the desktop version.

Paylocity is Quick and easy

Comentarios: Easy to approve time changes. We just implemented and some forget to punch in

Puntos a favor:

Ease of use. The app is great for quick changes.

Contras:

Just having to switch to a new platform. And needing to bring my laptop home for Approvals of time cards. I am off Mondays.

Good HR Tool

Comentarios: The tool is good for its use-case. I think there are better options out there at the price point.

Was a bit clunky and hard to find information

Lots of Potential, Not A Lot of Usability

Comentarios: Overall, Paylocity provides a good amount of payroll, time & attendance, and time off information, however, it is not always easy to navigate the website. There is a platform for all company announcements, but it forces employees to go into another program in order to view them. We have had issues setting up exports to work properly with Sage Intacct, consisting of needing two exports, one for labor cost and one for labor hours.

Puntos a favor:

There is a decent amount of information in Paylocity if your organization utilizes it.

Contras:

It can be difficult to navigate when you do not use the program often. Messages that are created from Paylocity and emailed to employees do not include the full message in the email, preventing employees from reading the entire message without having to open Paylocity.

Paylocity is Paying Off

Comentarios: I work for a company that uses Paylocity. Every two weeks, I enjoy opening up my account to see my next check. But even more so, we use it to do our yearly reviews, request PTO, onboarding for new employees. and so much more.

Puntos a favor:

How easy it is entering time, request PTO, how detailed the checks are, and navigate through the website.

Contras:

I haven't found one thing I don't like about Paylocity.

Paylocity is a monstrosity

Comentarios: I have had just a blah experience with paylocity I will never ever want to use it again especially if I ever run a business on my own I have to say it's very mediocre and the dashboard is just not up with the times your standards that I have in my book. There's also just a vague paycheck stub that you get with just the taxes and the breakdown in that fact but it doesn't allow you to go in and search for discrepancies and clocking in and clocking out

Puntos a favor:

I liked the means of being able to change my direct deposit information in real time

Contras:

I hate the fact that this program doesn't offer a detailed breakdown of clocking in and out.

A must for people that need to access their work data

Comentarios: My overall experience with Paylocity has been very good

I would say the thing I like most about Paylocity is the user interface. I have found it very easy to navigate where I need to go and the interface is very responsive.

Contras:

The only thing I do not like is not being able to check in or check out remotely.

Convenient!

Comentarios: I've used Paylocity with multiple companies. It's easy to access check stubs and tax documents as needed and they appear in the portal quickly after being submitted.

Puntos a favor:

It's easy and convenient to have all of my financial documents in one place. Any end user can accurately clock in and out, in addition to requesting time off and viewing documents.

Contras:

I have no dissatisfaction to report with Paylocity.

Easy to navigate

Comentarios: Overall, the software is convenient and easy to read. Information is displayed in an organized manner and there is minimal confusion. There are some issues with loading sometimes but it’s usually resolved quickly. It’s useful for payroll, especially for a company with a large number of employees.

Puntos a favor:

It’s pretty straightforward and easy to navigate. Everything is organized and simple to read which is helpful for those that are not particularly tech-savvy.

Contras:

There are some instances where it doesn’t load very quickly which can be frustrating.

Comentarios: great expereance with Paylocity - can get multiple reports with ease

It is so easy to use - Staff able to clock in and out on app without any issues or help

Contras:

sometimes there are too many reports with similar names that to get the right on you have to go through a lot but it is easy to run reports and if employee works in multiple departments must be vigilant to get in right department. Also the app does not have an employee sign in to correct department if they are in hallway - goes to wrong department

Great app for businesses all around

Comentarios: I still use it today to make a schedule for my employees every week

Great for making schedules for ny employees. Also it is so easy to use and kerps everything work related at the tips of my fingers

Time in time out

Puntos a favor:

I like being able to see my hours whenever I want. I can punch in and out on my phone. I can see if I am missing any punches.

Contras:

Occasionally I have had an issues with clocking in and out.

Paylocity Tips

Puntos a favor:

If i had to choose one thing, it would be that no matter what issue you have, you can call the 888 number, and someone will try to help you

Contras:

Paylocity has gotten so big, when a change is made or added they don't let us know.

Comentarios: Wouldn’t want to switch back to any of the similar systems that I’ve used in the past. Easy to operate on phone, tablet or desktop. Clocking in and out on the go is extremely convenient.

Puntos a favor:

Ease of access for both desktop and hand help usage. Clocking in and out right on the app

Contras:

No complaint after 4 years of use. Very secure.

User friendly but customer service isn't the best

Comentarios: Overall, Paylocity is a decent HRIS with a good payroll platform. It's easy to use from an employee perspective. Visually appealing, easy to navigate, app is great too. If they could get their customer service handled, I'd be happier.

Puntos a favor:

User friendly interface, modules can be added as needed, improved "impressions" (employee recognition) pretty easy to run reports (love dynamic reporting), dashboards are easy to read. We mainly use this for payroll and onboarding. Love the fact that you can pretty much customize onboarding packets to your needs. Great for smaller companies (under 500 employees) that do not need a lot of assistance from customer service

Contras:

Customer service is lacking. Sometimes takes days for a response from them. They have slightly improved over the years, but it depends on the question. A lot of times you're directed to their online knowledge base which can be outdated or not have the full information to answer your question. Or one person will direct you to another department which will push you off on another. Very frustrating!

Paylocity Pays

Puntos a favor:

All my information is one spot, benefits, time off and company newsletters and HR information.

Contras:

Some information I can't see on the mobile app and it forces me to login to the website.

Paylocity last and easy to use

Comentarios: I had a great experience being able to have my time clock on my phone. Being able to view my check stubs, and request days off on my phone fast and easy.

Puntos a favor:

Being able to clock in and out on my phone, viewing my check stubs, and viewing my W2's for tax season.

Contras:

There was nothing that I did not like about Paylocity.

Paylocity is Great and user friendly!!

Comentarios: Overall Paylocity is a great payroll product. I have been on both sides, used the app to see my payroll information and as well as the accounting firm side where we can log in and pull reports and check taxes. Overall, it is great, and the quarterly reports are awesome.

Puntos a favor:

It is easy to use, and the mobile app is great to have for employees. Employees can clock in and out through the app as well.

Contras:

I think the reporting should be named better. There are some reports with similar names, and you have to go through the whole process and download before seeing what the report looks like.

Well-rounded HRIS

Puntos a favor:

I've had many employees mention how easy the platform is to use. I, myself, enjoy the ease of set up and administration. Especially when it comes to implementing NEW modules, the team has been great.

Contras:

It can me almost TOO many options. But, for a certain size company, I can see the additional options becoming more important.

One stop shop

Comentarios: I really liked it, it was easy to use and had a lot of features which made it a one stop shop for HR things.

Puntos a favor:

It was easy to use and find things within the platform itself. I liked how HR could upload documents, colleagues could submit journal entries about you, you could add notes, etc.

Contras:

I wouldn’t it say it was Paylocity so much as maybe our HR department not keeping up with PTO. It always looked like you had more than you did because they were behind.

Exactly What We Need

Puntos a favor:

I like the ability for users to take control of their HR needs. Paylocity is easy to use, so we are able to control our individual payrolls, time off, expenses, and more.

Contras:

Sometimes, things are buried and difficult to find.

Useful, easy to use features

Comentarios: Overall, Paylocity has been the easiest program to use for tracking time worked.

Puntos a favor:

Kayla city makes it easy to edit your punch time, And to include notes about the reason for the edit. This feature makes keeping easy and updates manageable.

Contras:

All of the features in Paylocity beneficial and easy to use. There’s nothing about this program that I do not like.

Facebook for work

Comentarios: It is similar to Facebook but for work. There are chats and pages to get to. Depending on the district you fall under, you have your own work tree.

Puntos a favor:

What I like most about Paylocity is the chat with other people

Contras:

When I need to find a page and I can't find it. And that I cannot remove people from a previous chat so I see all of these chats that I can't just leave from.
