Su manera tan intuitiva de realizar las simulaciones que resulta siendo de gran apoyo para cada tarea propuesta,

Contras:

Que solo pueda adquirir la prueba gratuita.

Excelente software

Comentarios: Se implementó para capacitar Ingeniería y se logra entender con el uso del software

Puntos a favor:

Que se puede implementar en Mac y su uso

Contras:

Se complica su interfaz gráfica pero se acostumbra

Me gusta mucho lo fácil que nos fue aprender del software en clases, debido a que mi profesor uso este programa para los proyectos que tuvimos, se nos hizo muy fácil aprender de forma clara las herramientas.

Contras:

Hasta lo que he visto no me ha disgustado nada, me veré en la tarea de seguir implementando este software a mi día a día para retroalimentar lo que no me pueda gustar.

Anylogic hybrid

Comentarios: I am really liking Anylogic

I love the hybrid simulation thing the most that we combine agent based with discrete event. It is very crucial for my project

Contras:

There is a very less availability and ppl have very less idea about anylogic

Easy to use

Comentarios: Overall good, easy to use but need to train for the models.

Puntos a favor:

Great interface for systems dynamics modeling.

Contras:

Need training for systems dynamics models. More like user issue. AnyLogic is more expensive than other engine.

Switched to another simulationtool because of limits in AnyLogic

Comentarios: there are too many libraries. This is of course very nice but when using prorgamama the first time I panicked because there are too many possibilities. This can be improved for example to basis libraries and as the extras other libraries. Integrating 3D objects did not work

I liked that many models were available on cloud as an additional resource. Also with questions that team was ready for you immediately

Contras:

However, I had to switch programs. Anylogic was not able to work with objects created in autocad in a .dae format. Everything jammed and my whole model crashed. I have found a better alternative simulation program that does this very smoothly

I like how powerful of a tool it is along with the helpful tutorials for getting started. I had never done any systems modeling before using AnyLogic, and I feel it was a great introduction. I am excited to continue building my capabilities with it.

Contras:

While the expanse of tutorials and practice case studies are great, I think an in-program tutorial that highlights all the features would be helpful as well.

Comprehensive Simulation Tool with Room for Improvement

Comentarios: Powerful tool for advanced simulations but requires significant effort to master.

Puntos a favor:

Flexible modeling, extensive libraries, and Java integration.

Contras:

Steep learning curve, and performance issues with large models.

Great even for beginners

Comentarios: I am a Master's student and one of my lecture is using this software. So far I have been interested in simulation even beyond the class.

Puntos a favor:

It is basically just a blank canvas, where user is given the utmost flexibility to create anything.

Contras:

Some basic features and interfaces are not intuitive-friendly yet.

Anylogic for DES simulation - Beginners to Experts

Puntos a favor:

Ease to learn due to the available resources on discrete event simulation

Contras:

It is a bit different in user interface to what I work on Plant Simulaiton

Great software, but would like better documentation for newcomers

Comentarios: Very confused when I first started using it, but got the hang of it once I build enough models and read the documentation.

Puntos a favor:

I like the flexibility and ease of creating models.

Contras:

The documentation and learning materials are lacking, since each model has it's own needs. Also, the "learn in 3 days" is separate from the actual documentation, making it confusing how there are 2 official sources. For the Javascript, it's very unclear how much code needs to be written in the 'advanced java' like the import statement, as it differs from modules/interfaces/variables/functions.

Familiarity

Comentarios: Even when i need some time to fully understand this and that. After that its super comfortable. Also the tutorial is good too since we can use em as a template

The ability to build simulations easily with great visualization. Many available examples on the website as well as clear documentation.

Contras:

Some time it is difficult to navigate through the components. Should have support more programming language.

The controls are sometimes hard with the mouse, designing a better selection process could be helpful

What I like most about AnyLogic is the ability to integrate machine learning using its "Alpyne" pipeline. There are many other features I appreciate about AnyLogic, such as the drag-and-drop feature, which allows me to easily model complex systems without having to hardcode the model.

Contras:

I think the IDE interface for writing Java code could be improved, especially the function suggestions.

Visualization , libraries, modeling flexibility

Contras:

Learning curve could be a bit steep for new users in comparison to other tools. However, that would depend on modeling paradigm used and level of complexity involved in the design

I enjoyed the abilities that allow me to simulate different operations, and still add mathematical capabilities, such as different distributions and set seeds.

Contras:

The naming and menus you have to go through to change things is too much. I think like a dumbed down tutorial would be very helpful.

Comentarios: Simulating my university

Puntos a favor:

This software can be used to model almost any kind of mathematical model. And it can even be addictive to use it .

Contras:

Probably the java coding part. Not that it's a complete turnoff but would've preferred python. but that's just my preference
